Engineering department technology

We perform design proposals in the CAD software environment SolidWORKS.

Our design department works both on internal development projects and on external design orders. We are able to offer complete services from design and creation of 3D CAD models of products to the production of prototypes. For plastic parts, we are able to design and manufacture a prototype mold and process CAD data and drawing production documentation of a serial mold. Thanks to our experience in the field of 3D printing, we offer design and optimization of the geometry of parts with regard to the production technology of 3D printing.

How it works

1.

Creating a 3D model

The designer starts with a simple sketch - for example, a circle or rectangle - and uses features such as eject or rotate to create the basic body of the model.

2.

Adding details and features

The model is further enhanced with features such as holes, ribs, threads or curves. Parts can be combined to form assemblies, where their function is verified.

3.

Generate drawings and export

The finished model is used to create technical documentation - drawings with drawings, sections and notes. The model can be exported to formats for 3D printing or CNC manufacturing.
