How it works
Importing the scan into the CAD system
The scanned object (in STL or mesh format) is imported into the software, where it serves as a reference for creating a new 3D model.
Redrawing geometry
The scan is used to model precise CAD elements - planes, cylinders, holes or complex surfaces. The goal is to create a parametric model that can be modified.
Create documentation
The finished model is used for production, engineering drawings or modifications to an existing part. Reverse engineering is ideal for replacement parts without documentation.
